Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 6. SET DATES FOR REFEREE HEARINGS AND BOARD OF EQUALIZATION <br /> HEARINGS AND FINAL ACTION — Pelland stated that the notices will be sent out by <br /> June 1, 2017 and the informal hearings will be set for the last 3 weeks in June. There was $17,239,874.00 in <br /> growth that could not be counted this would include growth on various TIF projects that <br /> cannot be counted. <br /> She stated that last year at abstract time it was $5,002,948,356.00 and at certification <br /> time the valuation for real estate it was $4,990,687,706.00 <br /> The new valuation for real estate this year is $5,076,378,191.00 so it increased by <br /> $85,690,485.00 even though she lowered the irrigated crop land value this year. She <br /> stated they did a lot of extra work with the pictometry review, they followed Zillow, <br /> properties that were advertised in the newspaper for sale. They found a lot of finished <br /> basements, extra bathrooms and they also did a commercial update on the properties <br /> outside of the city of Grand Island. <br />
