County Assessor Jan Pelland has approved this as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> Grand Island FOP Lodge #24, Box 103, Grand Island, NE Lambert Second Add. City of <br /> Grand Island lots 12 & 13 Blk 2, 825 North White Avenue, This is a new application for <br /> the meeting Hall and for the personal property <br /> County Assessor Jan Pelland has approved this as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> Arnold stated that he is a member of FOP Lodge #24 so he ask if this could be voted on <br /> separately. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the new applications as listed, <br /> except for Grand Island FOP Lodge #24. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, <br /> Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the exemption application <br /> for Grand Island FOP Lodge #24, Box 103, Grand Island, NE. Bredthauer, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold <br /> abstained. Motion carried. <br /> Ms. Pelland stated that there are 2 real estate exemption applications and 1 personal <br /> property exemption application from Platte River Whooping Crane Maintenance Trust <br /> that were reaffirmation of tax exemptions. There are 3 exemption applications for Platte <br /> River that are in appeal at TERC and she recommended denial last year and is <br /> recommending denial again this year. <br /> There are also 30 new exemption applications for Platte River Whooping Crane <br /> Maintenance Trust that are also in appeal to TERC that she is recommending to deny. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Schuppan seconded to deny the 30 new exemption <br /> applications from Platte River Whooping Crane Trust and the 3 exemption application <br /> for Platte River that are also on appeal at TERC. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Ms. Pelland stated that the exemption applications appeals to TERC from 2015 have <br /> not been scheduled for Platte River Whooping Crane Trust. <br /> There ae 4 applications for Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity, 502 West Second <br /> Street, Grand Island for <br /> Union Pacific Railway Co.'s 2nd, Blk 130, Lot 7, house still standing <br /> Evans Add., Blk 4, Lot 4, vacant lot <br /> Evans Add Lt 5 Blk 4, County Sub W1/2 SW '/ 10-11-9 Blk 0 Lot 2, vacant lot <br /> Evans Add., Blk 4, Lot 3, vacant lot <br /> These four properties are for sites for low income housing. There have been no permits <br /> for construction at this time, so she is recommending denying these applications <br /> because they are sitting idle. They are valued under $10,000.00. <br /> 2 <br />
