HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING FEBRUARY 21, 2017 <br /> 9:05 a.m. Arnold made a motion and Quandt seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Karen Bredthauer, <br /> Pamela Lancaster, Douglas Lanfear, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve <br /> Schuppan. Also present were County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant <br /> Stacey Ruzicka and County Assessor Jan Pelland. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Lancaster read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —The affidavit of public was published <br /> MINUTES — Richardson made a motion and Arnold seconded to approve the minutes of <br /> the February 7, 2017 meeting. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no <br /> one responded. <br /> 3. COUNTY ASSESSOR — 2017 PERMISSIVE EXEMPTIONS FOR REAL ESTATE <br /> AND PERSONAL PROPERTY — County Assessor Jan Pelland distributed the list of the <br /> real and personal property tax exemptions. The annual renewal was last year so they <br /> filed an affidavit of continued use as listed on pages 1 through part of page 4 so there <br /> is no board action required on these. <br /> She received the following new applications <br /> Centro Vida Cristiana, 1324 East 6th Street, Grand Island, NE for a mobile home <br /> County assessor Jan Pelland has approved this as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> Sala Evangelica Inc. 515 N. Pine, Grand Island for Orig town S1/2 Lt 3 & S1/2 Lt 4 Blk <br /> 19 they failed to file an application last year <br /> County Assessor Jan Pelland has approved this as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> Great Plains United Methodist Conference, 3333 Landmark Dr., Lincoln, NE for 4150 <br /> Vermont Avenue, Grand Island, NE this is for the house <br /> County Assessor Jan Pelland has approved this as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> St Stephens Episcopal Church, 410 W 2nd Street, Grand Island, NE for St. Stephens <br /> Sub Lt 1 for church parking lot it was not eligible for 2016 <br /> County Assessor Jan Pelland has approved this as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> Destiny Church Assembly of God, 4306 West Hwy #30, Grand Island, for Lot One (1) <br /> Bicks Fourth Subdivision this is for a new church building <br /> 1 <br />
