Arnold stated that he appreciated the information regarding the work they do. <br /> Comments from individual in the audience they do not need to build another mansion they need <br /> room in the Veterans Service office for wheel chairs to move around does not see why they <br /> would have to move. <br /> Arnold noted that if the Veterans office needs an exclusive waiting area they could use the <br /> space in their office. <br /> Richardson requested to avoid the back and forth comments it would take board action to make <br /> any changes. <br /> Paul Wicht noted the space in this building was too small they needed more space there needs <br /> to be an apology. <br /> Richardson that them for being here and appreciated the input. <br /> Quandt stated that Mr. Arnold needs to apologize. <br /> Lancaster thanked the people present for coming regarding their concerns. The office is <br /> appreciated for what they do. <br /> 18. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION SCHEDULING DECEMBER COUNTY BOARD <br /> MEETING FOR DECEMBER 18, 2018 — Richardson noted that the regular board meeting <br /> would fall on Christmas day so it would need to be changed. County Clerk Marla Conley noted <br /> that last year the meetings were scheduled weekly to avoid the holiday. The next regular <br /> meeting would be January 8, 2019. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to schedule the meetings in December for <br /> December 11th and December 18th and to conduct business as needed. Arnold, Bredthauer, <br /> Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Schuppan was <br /> absent. <br /> BID OPENING FOR COURTHOUSE WINDOW RENOVATIONS —Mr. Humphrey stated that he <br /> reviewed the bid and everything looks good and it was inclusive as far as the specifications <br /> were concerned. He did talk to another contractor and they declined to bid. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded to accept the bid from Mid Plains for the <br /> Courthouse storm window renovations. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt and <br /> Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Schuppan was absent. Motion carried. <br /> 23 EXECUTIVE SESSION PERSONNEL —This will be tabled until the next meeting. <br /> 4a COUNTY ATTORNEY — A) EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING UPDATE ON <br /> LITIGATION <br /> 4 B) EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING LITIGATION - DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION <br /> REGARDING LITIGATION <br /> 24 EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE <br /> 8 <br />
