Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded to go into executive session regarding 4a, 4b and <br /> 24 they do not need item 23. Richardson stated that there are two reasons for an executive <br /> session to prevent needless harm or injury to an individual or to protect the public interest. <br /> Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt and Richardson all voted yes and none voted <br /> no. Schuppan was absent. Motion carried. <br /> Arnold made at motion and Quandt seconded to go out of the executive session at 12:07. The <br /> times for the session are as follows. <br /> 4a COUNTY ATTORNEY— A) EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING UPDATE ON <br /> LITIGATION —went into executive session at 11:26 a.m. and out at 11:27 a.m. <br /> 4 B) EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING LITIGATION - DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION <br /> REGARDING LITIGATION -went into executive session at 11:27 a.m. and out at 11:32 a.m. <br /> 24 EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE -went into executive <br /> session at 11:32 a.m. and out at 12:07 p.m. <br /> The vote on the motion to go out was held. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt and <br /> Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Schuppan was absent. Motion carried. <br /> BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS — Lancaster stated that she and Bonnie attended a training at <br /> Lutz regards security issues and learned that a 12 character password it hard to break. She <br /> also noted that Convention Visitor's Bureau had Tracy Skalberg give a presentation on our <br /> Grand Legacy and noted a donation to Grand Island Senior High for the upgrade to the football <br /> stadium and this will be an economic development opportunity to bring conference to Grand <br /> Island. She also stated that the two veteran's monuments will not be moved. Discussion was <br /> held to invite Ms. Skalberg to give a presentation to the board. <br /> Arnold noted that he attended the Senior High football game that honored the Hall of Fame <br /> inductees. <br /> Bredthauer noted that the United Way fund drive is underway, the support 29 different agencies <br /> and you can add any entity that you wish. She also noted that the funds stay in the community. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS —Chair Richardson called for new or unfinished business <br /> and no one responded. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 12:22 p.m. the next meeting will be October 16, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> aria .
