B) COUNTY ATTORNEY- SECRETARY 2, RANGE 9 & OFFICE MANAGER RANGE 16 & DEPUTY COUNTY ATTORNEY 1 & 2 County Attorney Sarah Carstensen updated these job descriptions and added management and training responsibilities to this positon. Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded to set the range for the following Secretary 2 set at Range 9 Office manager at Range 16 County Attorney 2 at Range 22 Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. Motion carried. C) PUBLIC WORKS EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT RANGE 11 & SECRETARY/ACCOUNTANT RANGE 4 —the job description were reviewed and compared to other positions in the county. Lancaster noted that there was a proposal to add a third person but with these changes it will distribute the work load between 2 positions. Lancaster made a motion and Schuppan seconded to set the executive assistant for public works on Range 11 and the secretary/account on range 4. Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. Motion carried. 11. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING ELIMINATION OF COMMITTEES Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded to eliminate the following. • Ambulance Agreement • Audit • Building Inspector • Computer • Conditional use/Zoning • Corrections Steering • Facilities • Criminal Justice • Law Enforcement Co-Location • Elections • Employee Recognition • Health & Human Services • Juvenile/Paternity Cases • Public Defender • Personnel • Public Works • Safety • Superintendent Contract • Inter-local Law Enforcement • Problem Resolution Team • Legislative Richardson noted that she had a conversation with Brad Fegley and he expressed concern on the audit committee. Discussion was held and there may have to be executive sessions. 8
