The sign stated it <br /> was the veterans waiting area. <br /> Lanfear stated that this is a new low it is just a sign but no other office has a sign. <br /> Lancaster stated that this is a personality issue and expressed concern on how Scott expressed <br /> himself at a previous meeting. There is an issue between them. <br /> Richardson stated that it was discussed at a committee meeting and Scott acted independently. <br /> We value veterans and support them. The county hires veterans and supports them. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Lancaster seconded to put the sign back up. <br /> Richardson ask Mr. Shuda how long he has been in the building and he stated 5 years. The <br /> waiting area has always been in the same place. There are always questions where offices are <br /> located. If no one asks where the waiting room is why does there need to be a sign. Shuda <br /> stated you don't support veterans. <br /> Schuppan stated he has no opinion this is a personality conflict. We all have opinions and there <br /> should be compromises. Scott is not here to defend himself. He does not care about the sign <br /> these remarks about Scott are uncomfortable there are 2 sides to a story and Scott will respond. <br /> Bredthauer stated she is OK with the sign if it shows one area from another. It is no different <br /> than any other sign. <br /> Schuppan stated he may abstain they need to discuss this issue when Scott is here. <br /> Lanfear stated it was a new low arguing over the width of a medium and now over the <br /> placement of a sign. <br /> Lancaster stated the motion was made and she seconded to put up a sign. <br /> Vote to put the sign back up the vote on the motion to put the sign back up was taken. <br /> Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear and Quandt voted yes and Richardson and Schuppan <br /> abstained. Arnold was absent. Motion carried. . <br /> Lancaster stated this had nothing to do with the personality issue this was to put up a sign. If <br /> Mr. Arnold wants this will be back on the agenda in two weeks. <br /> Willy Skala stated that Mr. Shuda is being persecuted and he deserves a written apology. <br /> 8. DISCUSSION & APPROVAL OF JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND SETTING RANGES -The <br /> classification committee met and reviewed the following job descriptions and recommend to set <br /> the ranges. <br /> A) CORRECTIONS LIEUTENANT POSITION - Mr. Bahensky had information from a study for <br /> this positon. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the job description for the <br /> corrections lieutenant and place it on range 23. Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 7 <br />
