Discussion was held on the dates for the budget and board of equalization meetings. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS —Chair Richardson called for new or unfinished business <br /> and no one responded. <br /> The interviews for the County surveyor will be held at 1:00 p.m. <br /> INTERVIEWS HALL COUNTY SURVEYOR/GIS DIRECTOR <br /> 1:00 P.M. INTERVIEWS <br /> The board returned to regular session with all members present. Chair Richardson will read the <br /> question for the two interviews. <br /> Brent Cyboron <br /> 970 I Road <br /> Chapman, Nebraska <br /> #1 He stated he was born and raised in Grand Island attended Engleman School, Westridge <br /> and Northwest High School after high school he attend Milford and received a degree in <br /> surveying and auto cad he worked for Lyle Davis Surveying, the Nebraska Department of <br /> Roads, the US Bureau of Reclamation, JEO from Hastings under the county surveyor from <br /> Adams Nuckolls & Fillmore County. He currently lives in Merrick County. <br /> #2 why interested it has been his dream to be a county surveyor he loves the work. <br /> #3 Detail his knowledge & skills he has surveyed corners in Adams County and has dug through <br /> records, he has surveyed subdivision in Hall County Copper Creek now LaRue Subdivision, and <br /> he has done most of the construction surveying on Diers Avenue, an ag processing plan and <br /> South Locust interchange. He enjoys the research of the records. <br /> #4 concepts and applications he has worked on various new projects, flood zones water, sewer <br /> and electric al infrastructure CADD and GIS is a very important tool for surveyors and engineers <br /> and it will continue to grow more and more. <br /> #5 Abilities to use CADD Brent stated that he has a degree in CADD and has drawn <br /> subdivision, various construction plans, parking lots topography surveys, and road designs, but <br /> he has not worked on bridge designs. He uses 2017 CADD and there is a new CADD program <br /> out. <br /> #6 Experience supervising staff he has always had someone working under him as a licensed <br /> surveyor. He always has a crew on projects and has not had any conflicts. Even when he <br /> worked at a gas station he had staff under him. <br /> #7 Describe a project where he worked with other entity. He stated he does this on a daily <br /> basis with contractors land owners or other surveyors <br /> #8 Experience with a budget Brent stated that he does this every day and on every job there is <br /> always a budget to follow <br /> 8 <br />
