10:30 A.M. Held a Board of Corrections meeting <br /> 10:36 .m. Recessed the Board of Corrections meeting for the quarterly jail tour. <br /> 6. FACILITIES AGENDA (RICHARDSON) <br /> A) APPROVE CUSTODIAL CONTRACT ADDENDUM FOR THE ADDITION OF THE <br /> FEDERAL BUILDING & PLAZA BUILDING-- M. Humphrey stated that with the additional space <br /> in the Federal Building and the Plaza Building Elite Janitorial is proposing the following. <br /> LOCATION CURRENT CHARGE ADDITIONAL CHARGE <br /> Plaza Building $500.00 $800.00 <br /> Federal Building $900.00 <br /> The area in the Federal building will be 16 offices breakroom and 2 more bathrooms. <br /> Lanfear noted that this will be an additional 6,000 square feet. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Arnold seconded to approve the addendum to the custodial contract <br /> with Elite Janitorial. <br /> Quandt expressed concern that they did not receive the committee meeting minutes until after <br /> the board meetings. Mr. Humphrey explained that Jane took the minutes and then they were <br /> sent to the committee members to make sure they were correct and then they are submitted to <br /> the rest of the board members. <br /> Discussion was held on the addendum and Mr. Zitterkopf stated that he was not involved in the <br /> addendum changes. <br /> Lancaster questioned if they should go out for bids for the cleaning or could they put this small <br /> part of the cleaning out separately. <br /> Arnold noted that you would still need to have someone to cover the cleaning until they could go <br /> out for bids. <br /> Lancaster expressed concern that it was known that they would have to address the cleaning <br /> for some time. <br /> Mr. Humphrey stated that they followed the same process when they acquired he federal <br /> building. <br /> Jack stated he would need to look at the current contract. <br /> Lanfear withdrew his motion and Arnold withdrew his second. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded to come back in two weeks with a <br /> recommendation. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Bredthauer and Richardson were absent. Motion carried <br /> The child support employees have moved to the new location. So they will need to address the <br /> cleaning. <br /> 4 <br />
