Hall County does not have any <br /> decision making process on this. <br /> 7.9:30 AM — BID OPENING FOR HALL COUNTY 2017-18 ASPHALTIC CONCRETE <br /> RESURFACING —Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to open the bid for the <br /> asphaltic concrete resurfacing. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson <br /> and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. They are close to being <br /> completely done. They will do the final punch list tomorrow. <br /> a) CUSTODIAL CONTRACT—they held a meeting with Brad and Donna Woodward regarding <br /> the deficiencies that have been reported and things need to be changed the service is poor. <br /> They were ask to attend the facilities meeting so they can hear the concerns. Mr. Woodward is <br /> planning to hire more people and improve services and is proposing to hire a supervisor. Mr. <br /> Humphrey told him there have been some improvements but they want to see more. The next <br /> 30 to 60 days will be a trial period. Discussion was held to the put the contract out for bids. <br /> B) TAX CREDITS —Mr. Humphrey stated that he talked to Mary Avery with the State Auditor's <br /> office on how the tax credits are sold. They have to be advertised for sale. He also contacted <br /> Brad Fegley and is waiting for a call from Russ Smith on the details you have to be cautious on <br /> how the ad is published. <br /> Lancaster noted that there is $41,030.00 in tax credits and she suggested that there could be a <br /> minimum amount that is purchased. This is a small amount. <br /> C) REPORT ON MEETING WITH HISTORICAL PRESERVATION OFFICE—Mr. Humphrey <br /> stated he met with the state historical preservation office and everything that is done on the <br /> Courthouse has to be run through the preservation office since we have accepted the tax <br /> credits. He has started step 2 on the stairs and ask if we can add on the additional projects for <br /> the Courthouse windows can also be added together. They have to have step#2 approved and <br /> 4 <br />
