• Discussion was held regarding a contractor electrical permit they will bring this back in 2 <br /> weeks for approval <br /> There will be numerous things that come up and they would like to see a committee set up. <br /> Discussion was also held on the conditional use permits. <br /> Arnold stated he will appoint Lancaster Schuppan and he will also serve on the building <br /> inspector committee. This will be brought back for approval at the next meeting. <br /> Chairman Arnold called for any other committee or board member reports and no one <br /> responded. <br /> BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT—Stacey stated she did not have a report. <br /> 17. FACILITIES AGENDA—A) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON MOWING <br /> CONTRACT—Loran Humphrey stated that the committee discussed this and he presented the <br /> following proposals. <br /> • Blue Grass Lawn 1 time a week at $135.00 per mowing total for season $1,080.00 for <br /> 2017 season $4,050.00 they would provide a certificate of insurance <br /> • Ricks Lawn Care 1 time a week at $268.00 per mowing total for season $2,144.00 for <br /> 2017 season $7,680.00 <br /> • OK Lawn Service did not respond with a quote <br /> Schuppan stated it takes 6 hours for our people to mow the entire down town campus and there <br /> is no reason to tie them up with mowing. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Quandt seconded to move forward with the proposal from <br /> Bluegrass Lawn for the remained of the 2016 season. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Arnold stated it is in the budget and there is no reason to hold it up for 2 weeks. They will come <br /> back with a contract in two weeks. <br /> B) DISCUSSION ON COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING —Mr. Humphrey stated that there is an <br /> issue with the County Office building on the northwest corner of the building the footing has <br /> dropped and there is a gap between the wall and the floor. He contacted Thrasher and B & D <br /> Waterproofing to jack the corner up and they may need to replace the corner footing. This is a <br /> storage room and the wall is a mess. It need to be addressed they are looking for an answer. <br /> C) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON FEDERAL BUILDING SIGNAGE —Mr. Humphrey <br /> showed the proposed wording for the sign and they have contacted the Historical Society <br /> regarding the type of sign they used and are waiting for information on the cost. <br /> D) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON WINDOW REPLACEMENT AT COURTHOUSE — <br /> Mr. Humphrey stated that he did a survey regarding the windows at the Courthouse and if they <br /> needed to have access to open the windows. He did not get any more quotes and stated it <br /> would be ab out $150,000.00 to replace them. Discussion was held about the type of windows <br /> and the board agreed that the windows at the federal building looked nice. The committee is <br /> looking for direction. Schuppan questioned if the committee should work on the specs but they <br /> need to know what the board wants and there may be various options. <br /> 7 <br />
