Richardson stated she appreciates the master plan and the fact that he has worked with tax <br /> credits. The tax credits are earned by restoring historical property not renovations. Lancaster <br /> also noted that there was discussion on the windows at the Courthouse but they would have to <br /> repair the old windows. She also noted that this has only been effect for 1 %years. <br /> Lancaster questioned if the board is interested in having Mr. Berggren come back with a <br /> proposal for a master plan. <br /> Quandt stated that the county needs to have a plan and he would be in favor to see what it <br /> would cost. The county has been criticized and we need to be able to prioritize how the dollars <br /> are going to be spent. <br /> Lanfear stated he would also like to know the cost. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to ask Mr. Berggren to put together the costs <br /> of a plan for the buildings. <br /> Discussion was held and Mr. Berggren stated that he could update the plan that was started. <br /> Arnold stated our plan is outdated and we need to have a long term plan. <br /> Richardson explained how the county obtained the Federal Building and they want the building <br /> to be used. <br /> Purdy suggested that Mr. Berggren work with the facilities committee to get this started. <br /> The vote on the motion to have Mr. Berggren come back with a proposal was taken. Arnold, <br /> Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 5b EXECUTIVE SESSION LITIGATION STRATEGY— Lancaster made a motion and <br /> Richardson seconded to go into executive session regarding 5B Litigation strategy and 6 <br /> executive session to discuss pending legal action. Arnold stated that there are two reasons for <br /> an executive session to prevent needless harm or injury to an individual or to protect the public <br /> interest and these would be to protect the public interest. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 12:15 p.m. executive session <br /> 12:15 p.m. to 12:23 p.m. litigation strategy <br /> 12:23 p.m. to 12:35 p.m. was to discuss pending legal action. <br /> 12:37 p.m. Lancaster made a motion and Richardson seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> No other subjects were discussed no action was taken and no votes were taken. Arnold, <br /> Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Purdy <br /> was excused from meeting. Motion carried. <br /> 17 APPROVE BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS AND ADDITIONAL REGULAR CLAIMS FOR JUNE <br /> 2016 -the list of the additional claims was included and Stacey stated that because of the early <br /> claim date she had a concern on the health insurance for the month of June and requested that <br /> 6 <br />
