It is a 3-year bridge agreement. They will be looking at the percentage of <br /> ridership that takes place outside of Grand Island and the cost to Hall County will be less. <br /> There will be an interlocal agreement on the payment. <br /> Schuppan stated there was a public works committee meeting and they reviewed the new <br /> budget. FACILITIES AGENDA— <br /> 24a) DISCUSS AND APPROVE CHANGE ORDER#16-- Mr. Humphrey stated that there are <br /> very few lights on the lower floor of the rotunda and they would need to box in the light fixtures <br /> and add some additional lightening. Quandt questioned if the County has an electrician why we <br /> could not do it. Loran stated that there is some construction that needs to be done and this <br /> could be done while they are doing that. He stated that they have done several projects at the <br /> courthouse and it would take two people to do this work so the department would be short. It <br /> would take them 2 to 3 weeks and if the work is done at night it could be done in 1 week. <br /> Lancaster stated this needs to be done at the time of constructions and this would help the <br /> lightening on the lower floor. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve change order#16 for the lightening <br /> project at the courthouse. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> b) CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - Mr. Humphrey stated that the air conditioning in the <br /> Courthouse should be done by the end of the week they are working in the restrooms to <br /> complete the tile and should be painting and installing the partitions next week. At the County <br /> Office Building they have completed 2 offices and are moving people around and he will have <br /> some quotes to bring to the board. <br /> Stacey questioned what the time frame when they will be done so the Worker's Compensation <br /> Court can hold hearings. Loran sated they have been using the court rooms so they should be <br /> available. He stated that the time frame for completion is the middle of July. Discussion was <br /> held and there may be a place in the Federal Building for the hearings and they could assign a <br /> room. <br /> 8 <br />
