11 CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF EQUIPMENT & IMPROVEMENT RESERVE <br /> TRANSFER REQUESTS AND BUILDING & LAND IMPROVEMENT RESERVE TRANSFER <br /> REQUEST -The audit committee met and reviewed the requests for equipment & improvement <br /> reserve fund and building and land fund transfers. <br /> The building and land transfer amount was $44,719.00 <br /> There were some offices that filled out the form and did not have a committee sign the forms <br /> and those were not included in the list of the transfers. The total equipment improvement <br /> reserve requests were $288,350.00. <br /> Lancaster noted that there was a large amount transferred by the corrections department. <br /> Some of the equipment is obsolete and needs to be replaced. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the equipment and improvement <br /> reserve transfer request and the building and land transfer requests. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 13 County Building Inspector Alan Pickrel was present and Lancaster, Quandt and a member <br /> from each one of the villages met and agreed on the codes and now all of the villages have <br /> approved them and they are just waiting for the County Board to adopt the codes. Quandt <br /> noted that they went through the codes and by one and came to an agreement on all of them. <br /> a) DISCUSS &APPROVE THE ADOPTION OF THE INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE, <br /> 2012 EDITION WITH EXCEPTIONS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE HALL COUNTY CODE <br /> COMMITTEE— Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the adoption of the <br /> International Building Code 2012 edition as recommend. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> b) DISCUSS &APPROVE THE ADOPTION OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 2012 <br /> EDITION WITH EXCEPTIONS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE HALL COUNTY CODE <br /> COMMITTEE— Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to adopt the Uniform Plumbing <br /> Code 2012 Edition as recommended. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson <br /> and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> c) DISCUSS &APPROVE THE ADOPTION OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 2014 <br /> EDITION AS RECOMMENDED BY THE HALL COUNTY CODE COMMITTEE— Lancaster <br /> made a motion and Quandt seconded to adopt the National Electrical Code 2014 as <br /> recommended. Alan stated they have not heard back from the state regarding the letter that <br /> was sent to them from the County Board to reinstate Hall County to do the electrical inspections. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> d) DISCUSS &APPROVE THE ADOPTION OF THE HALL COUNTY BUILDING FEE <br /> SCHEDULE, THE PLUMBING FEE SCHEDULE & THE ELECTRICAL FEE SCHEDULE AS <br /> RECOMMENDED BY THE HALL COUNTY CODE COMMITTEE Lancaster made a motion and <br /> Quandt seconded to approve the building fee schedule, the plumbing fee schedule and the <br /> electrical fee schedule. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan <br /> all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 6 <br />
