Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 12. DISCUSS AND APPROVE AD HOC COMMITTEE TO MOVE FORWARD IN DEVELOPING <br /> A PLAN FOR FEDERAL BUILDING - Lancaster stated that the board received a letter from <br /> Jerry Berggren and she also contacted Mr. Martin Berglund regarding the renovations for the <br /> Federal Building. Mr. Berggren sent a letter to the board and this may be an opportunity to get <br /> this started. She stated that Mr. Zitterkopf did contact a local architect about the space issues. <br /> She questioned if an ad hoc committee would help to get this started. <br /> Richardson stated this is a good idea and would be good assistance for the building and <br /> grounds committee. She stated she would like to be on the ad hoc committee. <br /> Lancaster stated NACO is coming up and Mr. Berggren would be there. She stated that he also <br /> talked about tax credits in his letter. <br /> Arnold agreed that it would not be too early to get started. Schuppan suggested that it may not <br /> need to be an ad hoc committee. The tax credits are good but they can only be used for <br /> historical renovations. Discussion was held to appoint Lancaster and Richardson. Schuppan is <br /> chair of the building and grounds committee and he could appoint a committee. <br /> Mr. Zitterkopf stated that he is in favor of looking at the financing and would be open to talking to <br /> Mr. Berggren. He stated that Mr. Webb has looked at the building and looked at the attorney's <br /> office regarding space issues. <br /> Lanfear expressed concern on the ad hoc committee but it would have value to get the project <br /> started. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded the motion to create an ad hoc committee to <br /> address the renovations for the federal building. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Lancaster she has no concerns where to address this issue and does not have a problem using <br /> the facilities committee they just need to move forward <br /> Arnold the idea has merit. Schuppan will set with the committee and select some one <br /> 15. APPROVE BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS AND REGULAR CLAIMS -The board members <br /> received the board preapproval list for their review. Schuppan made a motion and Richardson <br /> seconded to approve the bi weekly pay claims and the regular claims. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 4 <br />
