Held a board of Equalization meeting. <br /> 10:30 a.m. Returned to the regular meeting. <br /> Held a 5 minute break <br /> 10:35 a.m. Held a Board of Corrections meeting. <br /> 10:40 a.m. returned to the regular meeting. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION --Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEY - EXECUTIVE SESSION PENDING LITIGATION <br /> 14. EXECUTIVE SESSION- PERFORMANCE EVALUATION <br /> Purdy made a motion and Richardson seconded to go into executive session. Chairman Arnold <br /> stated that there are two reasons for an executive session to prevent needless harm or injury to <br /> an individual or to protect the public interest. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried <br /> 10:42 a.m. executive session regarding pending litigation <br /> 11:05 a.m. executive session regarding performance evaluation <br /> 11:09 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> No other subjects were discussed no votes were taken and no action was taken. Arnold, <br /> Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Purdy seconded to authorize the personnel committee to present <br /> the evaluation to the employee before the next meeting at 8:30 a.m. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, <br /> Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried <br /> 10. DISCUSS AND APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO VETERANS SERVICE COMMITTEE <br /> REPRESENTING GRAND ISLAND AREA AMERICAN LEGION POST#53—The Board <br /> members received a letter from Veterans Service Officer Don Shuda and Post#53 submitted 3 <br /> names <br /> Mike Ponte <br /> 216 East 18th <br /> Grand Island, NE <br /> 3 <br />
