Motion carried. <br /> 10:30 a.m. Held a Board of Corrections meeting <br /> 11:00 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Corrections meeting <br /> 11 FEDERAL BUILDING PARKING AREA NEEDS TO BE DISCUSSED - Sandy Yager with <br /> Tobacco Free Hall County is requesting to use the parking/alley area of the Federal Building for <br /> the "Go Big Give Campaign" on May 3, 2016. <br /> They are holding the even between 4 to 6 p.m. for a throw your pie and eat it too event. <br /> eY 9 p Y p <br /> They will need to make sure that the tenant of the Federal Building is aware of this. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the use of the parking area for the <br /> event. <br /> Arnold volunteered to participate. <br /> The vote on the motion was taken. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 15 APPROVE BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS AND REGULAR CLAIMS—The board members <br /> received the board preapproval for review. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the bi weekly pay claims and <br /> regular claims. COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS— Lanfear reported that the criminal justice <br /> p justice <br /> met with Lauri Dethloff and Chris Rea regarding the animal control contract and they <br /> will be meeting again. <br /> Lancaster stated that the new building inspector is on the job and they are getting the committee <br /> in place and will be addressing the codes and costs. They are moving forward. <br /> 20. BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT— Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka stated she did not have <br /> a report. <br /> 21 FACILITIES AGENDA —a) DISCUSS AND APPROVE CHANGE ORDER FOR JUDGE <br /> LUTHER'S COURTROOM —This is the change order to replace number 7 it includes the option <br /> #3 painting and the lighting and ceiling fans. Mr. Humphrey stated they are painting the side <br /> walls and will replace the carpet.
