Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS — Lanfear stated he attended the quarterly drug court meeting and there are currently 120 enrolled in drug court and there will be 16 or 17 graduating. They are working on a standardized contract across the state for the people participating in drug court. He also noted that LB 605 may affect drug court. Lancaster attended the legislative meeting at NACO and there was discussion on Medicaid for inmates. There was also discussion on funding for veterans for the Blue Water program for Vietnam navy veterans that may have been exposed to Agent Orange. They would like support for this bill. Richardson encouraged the board to see the "Wings Over the Platte" display at Stuhr Museum. She also toured the new terminal at the Hall County Airport. They are scheduled to open March 23, 2016. Arnold stated he now serves on CNCS and attended the first board meeting. He noted the in service training with law enforcement and how stress from poverty can become a law enforcement issue. They try to help people become independent. They also addressed veterans housing. He stated they are an impressive organization. BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT— Stacey reminded the board members of the audit committee meeting Thursday at 2:00 p.m. 22 FACILITIES AGENDA—a) DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON CHANGE ORDER#9 - Schuppan stated that the committee met Monday and discussed the TV's for the courtrooms they will mount 3 small TV's that will move up and down. There was also concern on the change order for the electrical and they felt it was too high. There was discussion to have Angela Solis to the wiring. Some of this came up because of the changes on the ceiling. There was also concern that there would be the addition 10% for the contractor and 10% for the engineer because of the change order. There needs to be a corrected change order and no action was taken. They will bring this back in 2 weeks. B) DISCUSSION ON ADDITIONAL RENOVATION PROJECTS ON COURTHOUSE OUTSIDE OF HVAC CONTRACT - Schuppan stated that some of the items were not included in the original project like Judge Luther's ceiling and the painting and carpet replacement. Discussion was held to bid these projects out separately instead of using change orders. Some of these projects can be done after the HVAC is done. Lancaster noted that this is good discussion and a good way to contain costs they can get three proposals for the smaller projects. 9
