7. 10:00 A.M. -- PUBLIC HEARING — RENEWAL OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR MID <br /> NEBRASKA DISPOSAL FOR YARD WASTE COMPOSTING SITE — Purdy made a motion and <br /> Lanfear seconded to open the public hearing. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Chairman Arnold called for public participation. <br /> Schuppan stated that Mid Nebraska purchased Clark Brothers and this site came with the purchase <br /> it is located on 13th Street between 60th and 70th Road. The site needed to be cleaned up and they <br /> have done so. <br /> Mr. Zitterkopf stated that this application was 6 months late and it will be renewed 5 years from the <br /> date of the previous permit. <br /> A representative from Mid Nebraska stated that they will use this site for the disposal of yard waste. <br /> The material is dumped on pads and windrowed and turned in order to process the product. He <br /> stated that they did not realize that the permit expired and do not have a problem with going back to <br /> the original date. <br /> Chairman Arnold called for public participation. <br /> Keith Brown from Central City stated that this is in the section next to his property and they need to <br /> take care of the property and he thanked them for taking care of the weeds. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Richardson seconded to close the public hearing. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve Resolution #16-005 for the renewal of <br /> the conditional use permit for Mid Nebraska Disposal. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br />
