"Local proceeds used for property tax relief" <br />Motion by Wright, seconded by Hartman, the local governmental proceeds <br />from Keno activities shall be placed in a separate fund and dedicated <br />to property tax relief, can accumulated fund with distribution date to <br />be March 31 each year. On roll call vote Frauen, Hartman, Quandt and <br />Wright voted yes, Abernethy, Landis and Leslie voted no. Motion carried <br />on four yes, three no vote. <br /> <br />Question if should have formal requests for operators. <br />taken on this question. <br />Chairperson Landis stated to be <br /> <br />Determination was to refer back <br />further negotiations. <br /> <br />Discussion on Keno was ended at 2:52 P.M. <br /> <br />No actions was <br /> <br />placed on hold until committees meet. <br />to Joint County - City Keno Committees for <br /> <br />Short recess was called. Returned to regular session at 3:05 P.M. with <br />Supervisor Frauen absent from room. <br /> <br />Discussion on placing ad for Weed Control Authority Board Member. <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Quandt to place a display ad in Grand <br />Island Independent, Cairo Record, Doniphan Herald and Wood River Sunbeam <br />and accept applications until January 11, 1993 at 5:00 P.M. On roll call <br />vote Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Wright voted yes, none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The following committee recommendation was presented and read: <br />, " <br /> <br />The Special Committee on Appointments recommends the Hall <br />County Board of Supervisors implement the following <br />procedures when making appointments to the Board of <br />. Keep a continually updated record of the members of the <br />above named bodies and their terms of office. <br /> <br />2. Begin a talent bank of names, addresses, and phone <br />numbers of persons interested in serving on the above named <br />bodies or as volunteers for other areas of county <br />government. . <br /> <br />3.
