<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Hartman to adopt the recommendation statement
<br />and make effective January 1, 1993. On roll call vote Abernethy, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Wright voted yes, none voted no, with Frauen
<br />absent from the room. Motion carried.

<br />on Monday, January 11, 1993 at 7:00 PM. at Riverside Inn, Grand Island
<br />and Co-sponsor meeting to be held January 5, 1993 at NRD office at
<br />6:00 P.M.

<br />DiAnna R. Schimek, District No. 27; and Don'Wesely, District No. 26;

<br />who has conflict of interest.

<br />to consider for replacement of A.C. Scott, member of Hall County Veterans

<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen to place communications received today
<br />on file. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt and Wright voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Discussion on Veterans Service Committee member and Board Assistant to
<br />notify three candidates to appear for interviews on January 5, 1993.
<br />
<br />Discussion on County Board meeting for December 29, 1992.
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen to cancell the County Board Meeting
<br />for December 29, 1992 as several board members plan to be out of town. On
<br />roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Wright
<br />voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />COMMITTEE REPORTS:
<br />
<br />Abernethy reported on meeting attended in Lincoln on EPC problems. Also
<br />attended the Visitor's Promotion Board meeting and three members terms
<br />expired in November 1992 and requested County Board to approve the reappoint-
<br />ment of Lew Cole, Bruce Swihart and Rhonda Saalfeld for 4 year terms.
<br />Motion by Wright, seconded by Quandt to approve the reappointment of the
<br />three Visitor's Promotion Board members for 4 year terms. On roll call vote
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt and Wright voted yes, Landis voted
<br />no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant reported on car title for County
<br />Assessor's office; Advertisement for Hall County Correction Director was
<br />placed in Denver Post, $271.32; Omaha World Herald $139~04 and Lincoln
<br />Star $143.22. Reminder Audit Committee Meeting Wednesday, December 23
<br />at 9:00 A.M.: Ambulance Committee meeting Monday December 28 at 1:30 P.M.
