HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ~~ Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to authorize chairman to sign the right of way certificate for State Department of Roads for Federal Aid Project No. BRS 2150(4) Cairo Southeast. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1443 as presented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. RES 0 L UTI 0 N 1/ / 4~.3 WHEREAS, there has been signed by Ha 11 County on the 5th_day of April. , 19~ and the State on the 19th day of April , 19~ an agreement providing for the construction of a FederalAid project beginning approximately 0.4 mile north of the Southeast Corner of Section 26, Township 9 North, Range 12 West and extends 0.1 mile north, crossing the south channel of the Platte River. ,and WHEREAS, in the above agreement, the County has pledged sufficient funds to finance its share of the cost of the construction of this project identified as No. BRO-7040(17) , and WHEREAS, the above mentioned agreement provided that the County would pay all costs not paid for with Federal or State funds, and WHEREAS, the State received bids for the construction of this project on November 5, 1992 at which time 5 bids were received for the construction of this proposed work, and WHEREAS, the following contractor(s) for the items of work listed has been selected as the low bidder(s) to whom a contract(s) should be awarded: Wilke Contracting Corporation, Kearney, Nebraska; Bridge. Guard Rail: $97,791.12 NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the above facts, the Board of Supervisors of Hall County, by this resolution, takes the following official action: 1. If for any reason the Federal Highway Administration rescinds, limits its obligations, or defers payment of the Federal share of the cost of this project, the County hereby agrees to provide the necessary funds to pay for all costs incurred until and in the event such federal funds are allowed and paid. 2. The Board hereby concurs in the selection of the above mentioned contractor( s) for the items of work listed, to whom a contractrsl should be awarded.
