~ 9'~~- d~ J ..3 WHEREAS, such plan proposed the preservation of agricultural uses and the limitation of urban development on the South Locust Street corridor outside of the corporate limits except for limited commercial use at the area of the new proposed 1-80 interchange; and , WHEREAS, Hall County is Lnterested in an orderly and coordinated plan necessary to accommodate future growth and tra~sportation needs; and WHEREAS, a specific interest of Hall County is the preservation of agricultural uses and the limitation of urban development on that portion of the South Locust Street corridor outside the jurisdictional area of the City of Grand Island. IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Hall County Board of Supervisors is in agreement and supportive of the preservation of agricultural uses and the limitation of urban development as shown on the Future Land Use Plan of the City of Grand Island as adopted August 24, 1992, for that portion of the South Locust Street corridor outside the jurisdictional area of the city of Grand Island. Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to accept Committee report and set date for October 27, 1992 at 10:00 A.M. to receive bids. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
