Publ c Works Director Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to accept the road classification maps and authorize all board members signing. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Frauen to approve the Adopt-A-Road Program to be administered by the Public Works Department. On roll call vote Aber- nethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Quandt reported he had attended the meeting at stuhr Museum on boundary line, he was working with Tri City Signs on the correction of sign at Weed Building, County Parks Superintendent had given him figures on 1992 camping season. Total camping fees $16,277. for the year and $462.84 of that was lodging tax. Questioned the regular board meeting for November 10th, due to County 30vern- ment Day. Wright reported on Keno Committee meeting. The committee had gone to Omaha on Wednesday, September 30th, reported on the different places they had visited who operated Keno games. Discussion on Keno operations and he stated they will be setting up a meeting with City Committee "and also a meeting with keno equipment representatives. Landis reported on Solid Waster meeting at City Council last night. Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant reported on (1) court benches to be refinished, (2) request for a d'3sk or table in board room for Hostler's use, voting panel placement and possible moving t9.~ news media table to other side of room. (3) UPRR letter from last week was for road project, was $5.00 year rent (4) Update on request for CPR classes for county employees and attorney's opinion. (Board members stated would be on voluntary attendance 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and employees would not be compensated for this time) (5) reported 0n ~:he Karr Tuckpointing survey on county ownec buildings. Motion by Wright, seconded by Quandt the Tuckpointing survey be referred to Building & Grounds Committee for recommendation. On roll call vot~ Aber- nethy, Frauen, Hartma~, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Board Assistant reported she had received billing for $125.00 from Union for share of printing cos's for employees manuals. Supervisor Wright lef meeting at 11:55 A.M. Landis reported on Co.
