On roll call vote Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Frauen to approve the Adopt-A-Road Program <br />to be administered by the Public Works Department. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Quandt reported he had attended the meeting at stuhr Museum on boundary line, <br />he was working with Tri City Signs on the correction of sign at Weed Building, <br />County Parks Superintendent had given him figures on 1992 camping season. <br />Total camping fees $16,277. for the year and $462.84 of that was lodging tax. <br />Questioned the regular board meeting for November 10th, due to County 30vern- <br />ment Day. <br /> <br />Wright reported on Keno Committee meeting. The committee had gone to Omaha <br />on Wednesday, September 30th, reported on the different places they had <br />visited who operated Keno games. Discussion on Keno operations and he <br />stated they will be setting up a meeting with City Committee "and also a <br />meeting with keno equipment representatives. <br /> <br />Landis reported on Solid Waster meeting at City Council last night. <br /> <br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant reported on (1) court benches to be <br />refinished, (2) request for a d'3sk or table in board room for Hostler's use, <br />voting panel placement and possible moving t9.~ news media table to other side <br />of room. (3) UPRR letter from last week was for road project, was $5.00 year <br />rent (4) Update on request for CPR classes for county employees and attorney's <br />opinion. (Board members stated would be on voluntary attendance 6:30 to 9:30 <br />p.m. and employees would not be compensated for this time) (5) reported 0n ~:he <br />Karr Tuckpointing survey on county ownec buildings. <br />Motion by Wright, seconded by Quandt the Tuckpointing survey be referred <br />to Building & Grounds Committee for recommendation. On roll call vot~ Aber- <br />nethy, Frauen, Hartma~, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted <br />no.
