The Museum Board would like to solve this problem as soon as possible <br />due to the discussions with Central Platte NRD and the Army Corps of Engin- <br />eers conscerning the Upper Warm Slough project on the future development of <br />the museum. <br />County Board members authorized Attorney Janulewicz to work on the necess- <br />ary quitclaim deed and prepare an agreement to agree, upon boundary between <br />the County Park and Musuem. <br /> <br />Board Chairman Landis requested Janulewicz to look into the statutes regarding <br />Ag Society or Fair Board budgets since this was one of topics discussed at <br />the recent County Officials Meeting in Kearney. <br /> <br />Bill Miller, State Divison of Communications spoke in regard to the telephone <br />known as Custom Centron. He was asked to explain the difference between the <br />county system on centrex and the new proposed centron system. 30 minute <br />discussion was held and questions were answered. <br /> <br />10:00 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING: to consider conditional use permit for construct- <br />ion of communication tower by Nebraska Cellular to be located in Jackson Town- <br />ship. <br />Affidavit of publication was read as published in Grand Island Independent <br />on Friday, September 11, 1992. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen to open the Public Hearing. On roll <br />call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted <br />yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br />Kevin Riley, spoke on behalf of Nebraska Cellular. He explained the <br />purpose of the request and the location of the site. <br />Howard Maxon, Communications Director questioned the location of the site <br />but stated would not be in location to assist in their use. <br />No one spoke opposing the request for conditional use permit. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to refer to County Attorney for review <br />
