<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned session
<br />and by published call with Chairperson Margaret Landis presiding.
<br />

<br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman,
<br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt. Bill Wright arrived 9:05 A.M.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Abernethy.
<br />
<br />Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of September 15th meeting were accepted as received, on motion by
<br />Quandt, seconded by Frauen. On rollcall vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Landis voted yes, none voted no, with Wright not present.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz was present. He presented a proposed
<br />amendment of Hall County with College Park in regard to sales tax on construc-
<br />tion materials. Request Board to consider approval of addendum to agreement
<br />for leasehold interest.
<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Quandt to approve the addendum to the
<br />agreement and authorize chairman to sign. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />
<br />Attorney Janulewicz stated Chuck Winkler Associated Realty had requested an
<br />extension to listing agreement for Lot 16 Kallos 2nd Subd sale. He may have
<br />buyer and requested extend until November 15, 1992.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to extend the listing with
<br />Associated Realty until November 15, 1992. On roll call vote Abernethy,
<br />Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Attorney Janulewicz presented resolution prepared for consideration to refer
<br />four tax foreclosures to private attorneys. These are cases that were filed
<br />prior to December 1990.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to adopt Resolution #1427 as
<br />presented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt,
<br />Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ATTORNEYS TO REp,RESENT THE
<br />COUNTY OF HALL, NEBRASKA, IN CERTAIN PROPERTY TAX
<br />FORECLOSURE ACTIONS.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the County of Hall, Nebraska, by and through the Hall County
<br />
<br />Attorney, has commenced action to foreclose liens for general real estate taxes
<br />
<br />and/or special assessments pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. fi77-1902 which actions are
<br />
<br />filed in the District Court of Hall County, Nebraska, to-wit:

<br />County of Hall VB. Jon A. Baker, et. al., Case No. 80-2-180 to 183
<br />County of Hall VB. Carol Joan Price, et. al., Case No. 84-2-212 to 219
<br />County of Hall VB. A & 0 Enterprises, et. al., Case No. 86-2-230 to 23'1
<br />County of Hall vs. Arnold C. Wenn, et. al., Case No. 85-2-220 to 229
<br />
<br />and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the County Board of Hall County has the authority to designate an
<br />
<br />attorney or attorneys, other than the County Attorney, to commence and prosecute
<br />such actions and may recover the cost of attorney fees through the sale of the real
<br />estate pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. 577-1909 in an amount equal to ten percent of the
<br />
<br />amount due; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the law firm of Cunningham, Blackburn, Francis, Brock and
<br />Cunningham has agreed to represent the County of Hall in the above entitled
<br />actions, the compensation for their services to be set by the District Court in the
<br />amount of ten percent of the amounts due in such actions pursuant to Neb. Rev.
<br />
