Notice of the solicitation of sealed bids and bid opening <br /> <br />shall be placed in the Grand Island Daily Independent once a week for two <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />consecutive weeks prior to the opening of said sealed bids. Bids shall be opened at <br /> <br />1: 30 o'clock L.m. on September 15 <br /> <br />, 1992, in the County Board Room, <br /> <br />Hall County Administration Building, 121 South Pine Street, Grand Island. Bids <br />must be received by the Hall County Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. September 14, <br /> <br />1992. <br /> <br />3. Bidder shall submit, together with each bid, an earnest money deposit in <br />the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount in the form of cash, money order, <br />or cashier's check. The earnest money deposit of the successful bidders shall be <br />applied to the respective purchase price with the balance due in ten days from the <br />date of bid opening. Earnest money deposits from unsuccessful bidders shall be <br />returned within 7 days. Possession and title shall be transferred upon payment of <br /> <br />the entire bid amount. <br /> <br />4. Any and all bids may be rejected. <br />5. Said vehicles shall be sold without any warranty of any kind whatsoever <br />as to the nature, use, condition or fitness for a particular purpose. No county <br />officer, employee or agent is authorized to make or imply any warrant of any kind <br />whatsoever regarding said vehicles. <br />6. Said vehicles shall be sold as is without any warranty whatsoever. <br />7 . .
