DISCUSS AND APPROVE IMPLEMENTATION O OF SALARY SURVEY AND WAGE <br /> SCALES EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2015— Schuppan made a motion and Richardson second to <br /> approve the implementations of the salary survey and wage sales effective July 1, 2015 so the <br /> budget process can be started. . Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 14. AUDIT COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS— <br /> A) DISCUSS AND APPROVE CHIEF DEPUTY PAY PER THE SALARY SURVEY <br /> GUIDELINES EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2015 Lancaster also noted that the chief deputies were at <br /> 80% of the elected officials but the recommendation is based on the salary survey. There is still <br /> some investigation regarding the elected official's salaries. The salaries cannot be changed but <br /> they are trying to see if the benefits can be adjusted. <br /> Richardson also stated that they are looking at some possibilities regarding the elected officials. <br /> Richardson made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the chief deputies salaries as <br /> per the guide lines from the salary survey. They do not have steps and the increase will be <br /> effective July 1, 2015. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan <br /> all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> B) DISCUSS AND APPROVE APPOINTED OFFICIAL PAY PER THE SALARY SURVEY <br /> GUIDELINES EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2015— Richardson made a motion and Lancaster seconded <br /> to approve the appointed officials salaries as per the salary survey. . Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> C) DISCUSS AND APPROVE RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE SALARY FOR THE <br /> OFFICE OF PART-TIME COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSIONER—this is effective January 1, <br /> 2015 and the resolution approves a 2% cola increase for the 4 year term. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the Resolution #15-021 setting <br /> the election commissioner's salary for the 4 year term. .
