2.03.191 GARAGE, REPAIR shall mean a building designed and used for the storage, care, repair, or refinishing <br /> of motor vehicles including both minor and major mechanical overhauling, paint, and body work. (Also, <br /> see Service Station.) <br /> 2.03.192 GARBAGE shall mean any waste food material of an animal or vegetable nature, including waste that may <br /> be used for the fattening of livestock. <br /> 2.03.193 GRADE shall mean the following: <br /> 1. For buildings having walls facing one street only, the elevation of the sidewalk at the center of the <br /> wall facing the street shall be grade. <br /> 2. For buildings having walls facing more than one street,the grade shall be the average of the grades <br /> (as defined in A. above)of all walls facing each street. <br /> 3. For buildings having no walls facing a street, the average level of the finished surface of the <br /> ground adjacent to the exterior walls of the building shall be grade. <br /> Any wall approximately parallel to and not more than five (5) feet from a street line is considered as facing <br /> a street. <br /> 2.03.194GREENHOUSE shall mean a building or premises used for growing plants, preparation of floral <br /> arrangements for off-site delivery to customers, cold storage of flowers or dry storage of materials used for <br /> agricultural or horticultural purposes. <br /> 2.03.195GROUND WATER shall mean water occurring beneath the surface of the ground that fills available <br /> openings in the rock or soil materials such that they may be considered saturated. <br /> 2.03.196GROUP CARE HOME shall mean a home which is operated under the auspices of an organization which <br /> is responsible for providing social services, administration, direction, and control for the home which is <br /> designed to provide twenty-four hour care for individuals in a residential setting. <br /> 7, <br /> 2.03.196a Group Home shall include both Group Care Home and Group Home for the Disabled. Group homes <br /> shall be classified by size as follows: <br /> Group Home(Small)shall mean a home designed to accommodate no more than Sag sons and shall be <br /> allowed in all zoning districts that_aermit single family dwelling units in the sane manner as other dwelling <br /> units. <br /> (.Troup Home(Medium)shall_mean a facility designed to house between 6 and 16 pers ns..<nd shall <br /> be permitted in the sank manner as other multifamily dwellings in zoning district that permit multifamily or <br /> kinstitutional dwellings. <br /> C <br /> Group (Large)shall mean a facility designed to house more than 16 persons and shall be <br /> permitted in in the same manner as other multifamily dwellings in zoning district that permit multifamily or <br /> institutional dwellings <br /> 2.03.197GROUP HOME FOR THE HANDICAPPED shall mean a dwelling with resident staff shared by four(4) <br /> or more handicapped persons who live together as a single housekeeping unit and in a long term, family-like <br /> environment in which staff persons provide care, education, and participation in community activities for <br /> the residents with the primary goal of enabling the residents to live as independently as possible in order to <br /> reach their maximum potential. As used herein,the term"handicapped" shall mean having: <br /> 1, A physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of such person's major life <br /> activities so that such person is incapable of living independently; <br /> 2. A record of having such an impairment;or <br /> 3. Being regarded as having such impairment. <br /> 2.03.198GROUP HOUSING shall mean two (2) or more separate buildings on a lot, each containing one or more <br /> dwelling units. <br />
