2.03,164ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION SUBSTATION shall mean an electric substation with a primary voltage of <br /> less than 161 KV, with distribution circuits served. <br /> 2.03.165 ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION SUBSTATION shall mean an electric transformation or switching station <br /> with a primary voltage of more than 161 KV without distribution circuits served. <br /> 2.03.166ELEEMOSYNARY INSTITUTIONS shall mean an institution supported by charity and designed to <br /> assist persons such as those recovering from mental or emotional illness. <br /> 2.03.167 ENCROACHMENT shall mean an advancement or intrusion beyond the lines or limits as designated and <br /> established be the Regulation, and to infringe or trespass into or upon the possession or right of others <br /> without permission. <br /> 2.03.168 ENLARGEMENT shall mean the expansion of a building, structure, or use in volume, size, area, height, <br /> length,width, depth, capacity, ground coverage,or in number, <br /> 2,03.169ERECTED shall mean constructed upon or moved onto a site. <br /> 2.03.170 ENVIRONMENTALLY CONTROLLED HOUSING shall mean any livestock operation meeting the <br /> definition of a Livestock Feeding Operation(LFO) and is contained within a building which is roofed, and <br /> may or may not have open sides and contains floors which are hard surfaced, earthen, slatted or other type <br /> of floor. The facility is capable of maintaining and regulating the environment in which the livestock are <br /> kept. <br /> 2.03.171 EXISTING AND LAWFUL shall mean the use of a building, structure, or land was in actual existence, <br /> operation, and use, as compared to the use being proposed, contemplated, applied for, or in the process or <br /> being constructed or remodeled. In addition, the use must either have been permitted, authorized, or <br /> allowed by law or any other applicable regulation prior to the enactment of a zoning regulation when first <br /> adopted or permitted, authorized or allowed by the previous zoning regulation prior to the adoption of an <br /> amendment to that zoning regulation. <br /> 2.03.172 EXPRESSWAY shall mean a street or road that provides fast and efficient movement of large volumes of <br /> vehicular traffic between areas and does not provide direct access to property. <br /> 2,03.173 EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION shall mean the area beyond the corporate limits, in which a <br /> city or village has been granted the powers by the state to exercise zoning and building regulations and is <br /> exercising such powers. <br /> Section 2.03E <br /> 2.03.174 FACADE shall mean the exterior wall of a building exposed to public view from the building's exterior. <br /> 2.03.175 FACTORY shall mean a structure or plant within which something is made or manufactured from raw or <br /> partly wrought materials into forms suitable for use. <br /> 2.03.176 FAMILY shall mean a household head and one or more persons related to the head by blood, marriage, or <br /> adoption,ouardianship or duly authorized custodial relationship living together in a single dwelling,unit—or° <br /> no more than 5 unrelated persons living together in a single dwelling, <br /> 2.03.177FAMILY CHILD CARE HOME I shall mean a child care operation in the provider's place of residence <br /> which serves between four(4)and eight(8)children at any one time. A Family Child Care Home I provider <br /> may be approved to serve no more than two (2) additional school-age children during non-school hours. In <br /> addition to these regulations, a Child Care Home shall meet requirement of the State of Nebraska. <br />
