10A. DISCUSS &AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN SUBCONTRACT WITH SENIOR CITIZENS - <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to authorize the Chair to sign the agreement <br /> between Senior Citizens and Hall County. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> The agreement with Comstock Corporation does not have to be signed by the county. <br /> Fifteen civil rights survey forms were distributed and 10 were completed. <br /> 12. SET PUBLIC HEARING FOR MAY 19, 2015 AT 10:00 A.M. FOR A PUBLIC HEARING OR <br /> C&I CATTLE COMPANY FOR A CATTLE FEEDING LOT— Mr. Quandt requested that this was <br /> pulled from the consent agenda. He expressed concern that the committee did not schedule a <br /> meeting and there was not a committee recommendation. This is already in operation. <br /> Schuppan stated that they wanted to get this on the agenda Friday. They did look at the site. <br /> Mr. Lanfear questioned if there even needed to be a committee meeting and Schuppan stated <br /> they were having difficulty setting up a meeting. Arnold noted that there is not a need for a <br /> committee meeting unless there is additional information. You have to hold a public hearing. <br /> Mr. Zitterkopf stated that they submitted an application and are entitled to a public hearing. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Lanfear seconded to set the public hearing for C&I Cattle <br /> Company for May 19, 2015 at 10:15 a.m. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 14 a. APPROVE BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS AND REGULAR CLAIMS <br /> 14 b. DISCUSS AND APPROVE CLAIM REGARDING MISSING PROPERTY FROM <br /> CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENT - Discussion was held on the claim that was submitted for <br /> missing property at the corrections department and the process that should be used to take care <br /> of this. This should be addressed by the corrections department. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to refer this claim to the corrections <br /> department for clarification. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> The board members received the board preapproval and reviewed the report. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the bi weekly pay claims and <br /> regular claims. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 18. COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS --Lanfear reported that adult probation has <br /> moved and they have started on the redecorating of the county office building, unfortunately <br /> they found there were squirrels in the ceiling. They also had a committee meeting regarding the <br /> law enforcement contracts with the villages and have met with them. There was an increase in <br /> the cost. <br /> Lancaster reported the ad hock committee for the building inspector met with the city and the <br /> villages and all agreed that a building inspector is imperative. They are working with the city on <br /> the most efficient process to handle this. Craig Lewis and Marlen Fergusson are working on a <br /> 7 <br />
