Motion carried. <br /> 20. ZONING AGENDA <br /> 1. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON APPLICATION FROM CHAMNESS <br /> TECHNOLOGIES TO SPREAD "SOIL BUILDER" PRODUCTS AT SW 1/4 SEC 10-T12N-R1 OW <br /> IN HALL COUNTY- Mr. Humphrey stated he received the application from Chamness to spread <br /> the soil builder on 2 different quarters. It does fall in the guidelines and the committee is <br /> bringing it to the board. They stated they will spread it in a timely manner and follow the guide <br /> lines. It will be about 100 loads. <br /> Schuppan expressed concern about the problems that happened at Doniphan and he stated <br /> that he talked to Mr. Libby and his intent is to spread it right away. <br /> Mr. Todd Anderson, with Chamness stated that they haul about 20 loads a week and once they <br /> reach 50 loads, if the spreaders are in the area they will start spreading. He stated that 100 <br /> loads would be 2000 tons and it takes about 5 weeks to get enough to spread. <br /> Arnold stated that it has to be spread in a timely manner. <br /> Quandt questioned if they comply with the setbacks. <br /> Schuppan expressed concern that after the issues with Doniphan this just keeps coming back <br /> and questioned if they are working on a permanent site for disposal. <br /> Mr. Anderson stated that Swift produces about 2 million pounds of waste. <br /> Quandt stated that if you live next to it the smell is unbearable. JBS is a good employer but he <br /> has serious concerns that they have not followed the rules. <br /> Lanfear noted that he knows the rules and this will be a chance to prove himself. <br /> 7 <br />
