DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE COURTHOUSE PROJECT- <br /> Mr. McFarland stated he put this on the agenda because they need to make a decision or they <br /> may lose a budget year and a construction year. He stated it may take 8 months to do the <br /> drawings and prepare the bid documents and then go out for bids. This has been discussed <br /> many times. <br /> Mr. Ziola stated the board should ask for the judges' opinions or are they satisfied. <br /> He thinks the board should get behind a concept and move forward. We still need to get the <br /> HVAC project done. <br /> Mr. Schuppan stated he still has reservation about B1 for a number of reasons. He has concern <br /> that the old chiller will make a mess and how can they put a plan together without looking at all <br /> of the problems He thinks it would make more sense to use the annex. <br /> McFarland stated it is going to be an issue no matter what they do. <br /> Arnold stated he has reservations moving forward and would like to look at the old safety center <br /> or could they add on to the courthouse annex. <br /> Mr. Schuppan stated that if the added to the annex they would be able to use the additional <br /> space in the annex. <br /> McFarland stated he would rather start over than make a mistake. <br /> Discussion was held and Ziola asked if the board wants to go forward on the HVAC <br /> replacement in the court house. <br /> Ms. Lancaster stated there was discussion on the old jail and if it should be torn down gut they <br /> would have to address the location of the boiler.
