According to State Statute 80--101 three names were sub- <br />mitted for selection to fill the vacated position. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to accept the resignation of Lyle <br />Brabander from Veterans Service Committee. On roll call vote Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion on filling the vacant position. A Board member was requested to <br />attend the Veterans Service Committee meeting Wednesday evening in Veterans <br />Service Office at 7:00 P.M. Supervisor Leslie recommended one of Board <br />Members attend the meeting. Frauen will attend the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to recess for Board of Equalization meet- <br />ing at 10:42 A.M. Returned to regular session -at 10:44 A.M. <br /> <br />Discussion on Chairman appointing a grievience committee to act on grievience <br />filed in County Treasurer's office. <br />Chairman Landis appointed Frauen, Abernethy and Landis to serve on the <br />committee and will set meeting for Thursday, January 16 at 11:00 A.M. in <br />County Board room. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br /> <br />.(1) Central Platte Natural Resources District in regard to water project <br />in western Hall County. Six monitor wells have been planned and <br />would be in county right-of-way for approximately 5 years and then <br />be removed. Would like to drill wells around end of January of the <br />beginning of February. <br />Letter was referred to Supervisor Hartman to check out the locations and report <br />back to board members. <br />(2) Received list of - Grand Island React 2736 Grand Island,Board of Directors. <br />
