<br />sented for renewal. Motion by Frauen, seconded by Landis to accept agree-
<br />ment and authorize chairman to sign. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, ,

<br />Letter to T. Advisory Committee University of Nebraska, Lincoln to request
<br />motor grader operators schooling was discussed.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Abernethy to authorize chairman to sign
<br />letter requesting a program for county motor grader short courses for 1994.
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none
<br />voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Adopt A Road Program was discussed with Dan Hostler; Public Works D~rector.
<br />He stated-Deputy County Attorney Janulewicz has copy of proposal, with
<br />suggestions to follow the City of Grand Island rules and regulations. Hostler
<br />has had about five requests for participation in the program.
<br />
<br />Resolution was presented for review in regard to addendum to inter local agree-
<br />ment for Hall County to enter into with other Nebraska Counties to participate
<br />in the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (NIRMA) and the
<br />Nebraska Intergovernmental Ris~ Management Association II (NIRMA II) for three
<br />years beginning August 1, 1994 through July 31, 1997.
<br />Motion by, Abernethy, seconded by Stelk .to adopt Resolution #1521 to
<br />participate with NIRMA and NIRMA II for three years. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk vot~d yes, none voted no. Motion
<br />carried.

<br />WHEREAS, HALL County entered into an Interlocal Agreement ~th
<br />other Nebraska Counties to form and participate in the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk
<br />Management Association (NIRMA) and the Nebraska Intergovernmental ~isk Management
<br />Association II (NIRMA II); and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, NIRMA and NIRMA II have provided coverage to the county which
<br />meets and exceeds that which was provided by traditional carriers, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, NIRMA and NIRMA II provides Risk Management services such as
<br />loss prevention, claims and litigation management, and coverage tailored to county exposure,
<br />all of which are not economically available from other sources; and
