<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned session
<br />and by published call with Chairman Gary Quandt presiding.
<br />
<br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman,
<br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. None were absent.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Abernethy.
<br />
<br />Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of October 26th meeting were accepted as received, on motion by
<br />Stelk, seconded by Hartman. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Frauen absent from his chair.
<br />
<br />Deputy County Attorney had court appearance this morning, will be at meeting
<br />later this morning.
<br />
<br />Howard Maxon, Communication-Civil Defense Director was present andnpXft~~~~ed.

<br />C1v1l Defense~eptandrequested a transfer of funds for repayment of duplicate
<br />payment. Discussion followed and board members suggested he file claim for
<br />reimbursement of overpayment.

<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to modify today's agenda to add an
<br />Executive Session for strategy to purchase real estate on behalf of county.
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none
<br />voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to modify today's agenda to add Public
<br />Works Committee recommendation on road project. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />The Public Works committee recommends "to replace the culvert on the east
<br />road 50" x 31" arch with a 65" x 40" arch and take that pipe and install it
<br />at Gary Thomas's home crossing and build up the road west of his home."
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to accept the public works committee
<br />recommendation for the road project. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Supplemental agreement between State of Nebraska and Hall County for project
<br />No. STPE-2070(4) Doniphan East and North(Hall County) to change STP funds
<br />80% and County funds 20% was presented for board's consideration.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to accept the supplemental agree-
<br />ment and authorize chairman to sign. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Agreement with Kuester's Lake Inc. for snow removal was presented for renewal.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to acccept agreement and authorize
<br />chairman to sign. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Stelk to adopt Resolution #1520 for snow
<br />removal at Kuester's Lake. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />'mEREAS. a substantial number of Hall County residents reside in the
<br />Kuester's Lake area and have as their only means of ingress and egress a private
<br />road which would not otherwise be cleared of snow by public means; and
<br />~JHEREAS. it is within the interest of the County of Hall to make
<br />suitable arrangements by way of co-operating in the clearing of such road
<br />inasmuch as the County has available to it s~itab1e machinery for the purpose,
<br />and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS. arrangements have been made' for the County to be reimbursed
<br />its expenses for so providing such service.
<br />
<br />THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS that
<br />
<br />
<br />the hereto attached agreement be executed in order to effectuate the desired
<br />
