Motion carried. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Hartman reported on Mid Nebrska Individual Services meeting. <br /> <br />Abernethy reported she had visited the Keno operation site. Attended College <br />Park Board meeting and also EPC Regional III Committee quarterly meeting. <br /> <br />Leslie attended Stuhr Museum Board meeting and also Mid Plains Center Board <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Landis reported on Public Defender meeting for conflict of interest cases <br />and have draft copy of agreement for six month trial basis on agenda for next <br />week's meeting. Also committee members have received the draft copy of <br />Social Service Department contract to be reviewed. Landis reported on the <br />Cornhusker Ordnance Plant meeting. <br /> <br />Recessed for Board of Equalization meeting at 3:47 p.m. and returned to <br />regular session at 3:57 p.m. <br /> <br />Deputy Attorney Janulewicz reported on his recent phone conservation with <br />Neal Kelly, CWA representative and County representative attorney Jerry <br />Pigsley. <br />County Treasurer Doris Mason and 3 employees from her offic~_~~re present. <br />Determination by Attorney is CWA and County are bound by agreement: until <br />termination date June 30, 1994 unless receive release in 'writing-:- CWA <br />representative !NeaDKelly has refused to send in writing. County Treasurer's <br />office employees monthly salary claims are in question. <br />Chairman Quandt reported are having budget session on Thursday morning <br />and will hold claims until then to take county board action on those claims. <br /> <br />Quandt reported he attended Senior Citizens Industries meeting, Visitors <br />Promotion travel & tourism meeting; Industrial Foundation meeting and also <br />Weed Control Authority meeting. <br /> <br />Ellen Merril, County Board Assistant gave reminders of County Board members <br />meeting this next week, also need to select county office for special audit <br />to be conducted this year. <br />Motion by Landis, seconded):>Y_,Stelk to accept name drawn of Clerk of _ <br />District Court office for (special audit this year. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Supervisor Hartman was excused from meeting at 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />County Board Assistant reminders of Bookmobile Committee meeting needs to be <br />set up (will discuss at Thursday morning meeting) Sheriff need answer on <br />budget by August 1st, each has copy of Public Defender's Indigent Task Force <br />report, NACO Planning Committee meeting for State convention. <br />
