Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />voted no, with Frauen and Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />County Clerk reported on Bank of Wood River checking account for. Martin Town- <br />ship and have no township officials. <br />Motion by Landis, seconded ~y Leslie to authorize closing the Martin Town- <br />ship checking account at Bank of Wood River for deposit in County Treasurer's <br />office if we can legally do this. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Frauen and Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Chairman Quandt recessed the meeti~g at 4:55 p.m. until Thursday, July 22, <br />at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD SUPERVISORS MEETING, THURSDAY, JULY 22, 1993 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. from <br />recess of session Tuesday, July 20th, with Chairman Gary Quandt presiding. <br /> <br />Present were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, Margaret Landis, <br />Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. None were absent. <br /> <br />Discussed the salary claims for County Treasurer's office employees. <br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Hartman to approve salary claims at 25 cents per <br />hour increase as per contract with Communications Workers of America and <br />authorize County Clerk to make corrections. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion Public Works Director Dan Hostler salary claim to verify the annual <br />salary established by County Board. <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Stelk to authorize changing Hostler salary <br />claim to $3287.55 for month of July to reflect the annual salary established <br />of $39,450.63. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk <br />voted yes, none voted no. L available to Senior Citizen Industries, 1 , property known as <br />J Graystone Apartments is for sale. Stelk requested the CO'!1nty Board consider <br />donation of $15,000. to $20,000.00 to Senior Citizen Industries to assist with <br />~ purchasing ~ property. If County Board will make committment she will go <br />, to City to see if they would match funding to make the purchase. Board <br />members discussed but decided to wait couple weeks to see if money is avail- <br />able in budget and then see if city would match funds. <br /> <br />Discussion on 1993-1994 budget requests. Reviewed Miscellaneous General <br />budget. Determined to fund Children Village Family Center at $90,000.00 <br />same as last year's funding and to have Board Assistant to notify them in <br />writing they may be cut in funding next year. <br />Determined to fund Central Platte Natural Resource District at r~que_f)t_Qf_ <br />$109,114.00;. Set aside $125,000.00 for appointed counsel for cQnflict_Q-.f_ <br />interest cases, Discussion on possible remodeling county court room for <br />another County Judge to be placed in October. Discussed funding for air <br />conditioner at Social Service building and replacing roof on old jail facil- <br />ity section. Discussed budget for Court System to fund the jury, witness <br />interpreter fees, court costs, appointed counsel, mental health board costs <br />and law library. <br />Supervisor Leslie excused from meeting at 10:45 a.m. <br />Continued discussion on various department budgets. <br /> <br />Supervisor Hartman excused from meeting at 11:35 a.m. <br /> <br />Chairman Quandt recessed the meeting at 12:00 Noon until Monday, July 26th <br />at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
