<br />_ Deputy Attorney Janulewicz reported the report on first five days for Keno
<br />gross was $82,032.50

<br />Discussed the emergency declaration in connection with the recent storm.
<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Stelk to authorize Chairman to sign the
<br />declarations for federal assistance for County. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Final Plat for prairie View Subdivision located on the north side of Abbott
<br />Road one and a half miles west of Nebraska Hwy 11 was presented for consider-
<br />ation. Nelson Helm, Regional Planning Director was present and explained
<br />the location and reason for subdivision and stated Planning Commission had
<br />approved the subdivision at their meeting July 7, 1993 and recommended the
<br />County Board approve the final plat as submitted.
<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Frauen to approve and authorize chair-
<br />man to sign the final plat for prairie View Subdivision as presented. Aber-
<br />nethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none
<br />voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Robert Schwartzkopf and Bill Bean, Weed Control Authority were present.
<br />Schwartzkopf gave an update report on the recycling of houshold hazard
<br />wastes. Have funding available to set up operation but need to look for
<br />funding to keep ongoing project, estimate $20,000 to $25,000.00 each year.
<br />Should be a joint City-County project to keep ongoing.

<br />regular session at 11:05 a.m.

<br />Renewal application was presented for Amusement license for Gas N Shop,
<br />located at 1-80 and AIda Interchange for one year.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to approve the renewal of the
<br />amusement license for Gas N Shop, AIda for one year. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion
<br />carried.
