County Clerk, County Assessor and County Treasurer have no use for the equipment and are need of space for other storage. ASI at one time had expressed interest in equipment to be used for parts. Board members authorized Goodrich to contact ASI by letter to see if still interested in used equipment. Deputy Clerk Goodrich also reported to the County Board members the Blue Cross Blue Shield billings will be changed from the middle of month billing to the first of month billing effective September 1, 1993. Notices will be sent to each employee with pay checks. Boa~d Members stated need to have meeting with Personnel Committee and elected and appointed officials to make changes in employees handbooks. Set July 20th at 1:15 p.m. for personnel committee meeting. COMMUNICATIONS: 1. state of Nebraska Department of Social Services with information that Hall County is not a candidate for federal funds for the Emergency Shelter Grants Program under the Stewart B McKenney Act for 1993. . 2. Cooperative Extension, University of Nebraska-Lincoln notice of video conference to be held July 19th at College Park in Grand Island on topic "County Government and Health System Reform" in conjunction with NaCo's annual conference. 3. Copy of letter sent to Joel Dalton, Correction Director from State of Nebraska Commission on Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice that annual evaluation of Hall County jail will be on August II, 1993.
