<br />County Clerk presen~~ petition filed May 21, 1993 with approximately 69
<br />~signatures to asphalt Schimmer Drive from S. North Road to Engleman Road,
<br />a gravel road with 9 residences and also Grand Island Christian School is
<br />located 1 1/4 miles we~t of Hwy 281.
<br />
<br />~ Public Works Director estimated $100,000.00 for one mile of asphalt. Will
<br />look at funding when work on 1993-1994 budgets.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to receive the petition and place
<br />of file for later review. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Discussed the appointment of Stuhr Museum Board members. Had advertised and
<br />only received applications from two current members, Marval Hornady and Robert
<br />Claussen.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to approve the reappointment of
<br />Stuhr Museun Board members Marval Hornady and Roert Claussen. Abernethy,
<br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />Motion carried.
