Have had over 1000 kids since opening in 198'9. ._ <br />Jeff Schubert, Family C~nsultant at the Shelter explained the program. Have <br />served 14 families in Grand Island area in 1992. <br />Mrs Baker stated reason for visit today was to request the County Board <br />to consider contracting for this family consultant service as their grant will <br />expire in June 1993. Estimated cost $60 to $65.00 per hour for services to <br />recoup expenses or $4000.00 per family per year. <br />Board members are to take under consideration when begin budget work. <br /> <br />10:00 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING: on proposed sale of Extension Service/Weed Control <br />building on Stolley Park Road. <br />Affidavit of publication was Qresented and read. <br />Ron VonBehren, spoke and asked the County Board have building sold at auction <br />when they are read to sell. <br />Howard Maxon, Communications Director stated a Civil Defense Siren is <br />located on the building site. He requested board direction to have siren removed <br />from building and relocate the siren before selling the building. <br />
