JANULEWICZ <br />DEPUTY HALL COUNTY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />Deputy Attorney Janulewicz would begin negotiations and hope to have some <br />results by end of.February, or. first of March, 1993. <br />Chairman Quandt requested Leslie and Hartman to work with Janulewicz when <br />necessary. <br /> <br />Robert. 'Schwartzkopf spoke in regard to LEPC Committee, household hazardous <br />waste collections. He requested permission to use Weed Control Authority <br />as a collection site for waste to be delivered on a weekend and hauled off, <br />would not be stored at this site. <br />Motion by Landis, seconded'by Stelk to approve request to use Weed <br />Control Building site as collection of household hazardous wastes. Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Interviews were conducted for the five applications for Weed Control Authority <br />Board. Robert Schwartzkopf, Weed Superintendent and Jack Niemoth, Weed Board <br />President were present during the interviews. <br />Applicants were Monty R. Fread, 537 Harmitage Court, Grand Island; Todd <br />Michael Graus, 3728 W. Wildwood Drive, Grand Island; Susan Allan Kleeb, <br />7535 S. 60th Road, AIda, Nebraska; Larry Knuth, 3554 W. Wildwood Drive, <br />Grand Island and Neal Sidders, 12787 S. NE. Hwy 11, Wood River, Nebraska. <br />Applications were taken under consideration. <br /> <br />Recessed for 5 minutes, Returned to regular session. <br /> <br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Abernethy to advertise and set Public Hearing <br />for February 23, 1993 at 10:00 A.M. to consider the proposed sale of Weed <br />Control/Extension building on Stolley Park Road. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Ballots were cast for the appointment of Weed Control Authority Board member. <br />Sidders 3 votes, Kleeb 3 votes and Graus 1 vote. Second ballot was cast. <br />Sidders 4 votes, Kleeb'3 votes. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to appoint Neal Sidders to the Weed <br />Control Authority Board to complete the four year vacancy on the Board. <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Frauen to set Public Hea~in~'for'February 23, <br />1993 at 10:30 AM. to discuss vacation of mile of Schauppsville Road in <br />Mayfield Township. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt <br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1456 as presented. <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie., Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # /~~ <br />, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED tha~a public hearing will be held at <br />~d/30o'clock A .m. on ~~ ~.3 ,199.:3, in the <br />Hall County Administration Boar Room, located at 121 South <br />Pine Street in Grand Island, Nebraska, to discuss vacation <br />of the following mile of Schauppsville Road: <br /> <br />Beginning on the section line thirty-three (33) feet <br />south of the Northeast (NE) Corner of Section Three <br />(3), Township Twelve (12) North, Range Eleven (11) West <br />of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, thence <br />southerly one (1) mile along the section line to a <br />point thirty-three (33) feet north of the Southeast <br />(SE) Corner of said Section Three (3); said <br />right-of-way being thirty-three (33) feet each side of <br />the section line. <br /> <br />,-- <br />
