<br />County Assessor Jan Pelland presented tax correction notices #593 thru #621
<br />for approval by board.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to authorize chairman to sign the
<br />tax correction notices #593 thru #621. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Leslie absent. Motion carried.

<br />County Assessor Pelland reported on preliminary figures for valuations for 1994
<br />1995 budget. 1993 was $1,516,811,065. and 1994 is $1,647,400,817. She gave
<br />a total growth figure of $32,636,153.
<br />
<br />County Assessor Pelland spoke in regard to reappraisal, she is preparing the
<br />budget request for 1994-1995 and needed County Board input as to what they
<br />wanted to include during the next fiscal year. Great Plains Appraisal is
<br />for commercial reappraisal only, do they want them to also assist with the
<br />residential hearings etc. Pelland to get some additional figures and return
<br />to board meeting next week.

<br />1. Letters from Kemper Insurance Company in regard to recent boiler inspections
<br />at Hall County Administration building, Jail and Social Services building.
<br />No conditions were found that would be detrimental to the continued operation
<br />of the equipment examined and protective devices appear to be proper.
