Letter from JoAnn Dubbs, Cairo Ne in regard to 50% penalty on personal <br />property. <br />~ Motion by Landis, seconded by Abernethy to refer to County Assessor for infor- <br />mation. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />1 voted no, with Leslie absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. Letter with four signatures in regard to County owned right of ways of <br />Phoenix & Oklahoma Streets between Lincon and Adams, and County owned <br />right of way of Washington Street between Phoenix & Oklahoma streets and <br />request the property to be dedicated to the adjacent land owners. (Letter <br />was filed to be made part of Industrial Hearing to be held on August 2, <br />1994) <br /> <br />4. Public Notice of reissuance of permit for Nebraska Game & Park Commission <br />for artifical reefs/fill General Permit 79-01 Amendment #3 <br /> <br />5. Memo from Nelson Helm, Planning Director that he would be on vacation <br />Thursday June 23 thru Wednesday June 29, 1994. <br /> <br />6. Press release for budget seminars to be conducted by State Auditor of <br />Public Accounts office throughout the state. One to be held July 15th <br />at 1:00 p.m. in Supervisor's meeting room, Administration Building, 121 <br />S. Pine. <br /> <br />7. Copy of 'Fax from Heartl_ap.dFinancial Services, James Powell in regard to <br />the Intermountaln ~enefIt Administrators references list requested by <br />County Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to place on file the communications <br />received today. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted <br />yes, none voted no, with Leslie absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant gave weekly update report. She asked <br />Board Members for count of those planning to attend the County Employees picnic <br />July 31st. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Stelk reported on Personnel Committee meeting, gave update information for <br />County employees picnic. Reported on the Election Committee meeting <br />with Election Commissioner Mary Kay Shay in regard to Motor Voter Bill <br />to take effect January 1995. <br /> <br />Quandt: Attended the Election Officials personnel meeting. <br /> <br />Frauen: Presented a letter from Park Superintendent Chuck Kaufman in regard <br />to purchase of basket truck for Park Department. (Frauen requested <br />letter be filed with Board minutes) <br /> <br />Abernethy: Attended meeting onDWI cases with Senator McKenzie present. <br />Attended Juvenile Committee meeting, Mid Plains Center meeting, <br />Judge Luther's rception, the NACO planning meeting for the 100th <br />Anniversary of NACO and also Governor Nelson's press conference. <br /> <br />Hartman: Reported on Mid Plains Center meeting. <br /> <br />Chairman adjourned the meeting at 12:00 noon.
