<br />91 f'-/9'CJ <br /> <br />,~ <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, JUNE 28, 1994 <br /> <br />l <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned session <br />and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, <br />Margaret Landis, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. Absent w~s Robert Leslie. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Rev. Bacon, First Christian Church. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of June 21st meeting were accepted as received on motion by Frauen, <br />seconded by Quandt, after corrections made by Abernethy and Stelk. <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted <br />no,with Leslie absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen to hold Executive Session in regard <br />to E.O.C. complaint as requested by Deputy County Attorney. Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with <br />Leslie absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Executive Session.at9:07 a.m. and returned to regular session at 9:22 a.m. <br />on motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt. Abernethy, Frauen,' Hartman, Landis, <br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Leslie absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Deputy Attorney Jerom Janulewicz discussed the interlocal agreement with <br />Nebraska Community Services Inc and City of Central City in regard to Economic <br />Development block grant disaster funds awarded by Nebraska Department of <br />Economic Development. Janulewicz recommended an addendum be added to agree- <br />ment. Board Members requested Janulewicz topre2are the addendum for next <br />week's meeting. <br /> <br />Jeanette SUlzman, Director of Central Nebraska Council Alcoholism gave <br />annual report. Requested County to continue the funding of$18,000.00 <br />as has been provided- for several year. <br /> <br />Letter from Stuhr Musuem of Prairie Pioneer President of Board of Trustees <br />was read, recommending the reappointment of Mrs Donna Wanitschke and Dr. Reg <br />Gartner.foranother term on the Board of Trustees effective July 1, 1994. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt to advertise for the vacancies on the Stuhr Museum Board of <br />Trustees. Motion died for lack of second. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Landis to approve the reapointment of Donna <br />Wanitschke and Dr. Reg Gartner to Stuhr Museum Board of Trustees.for <br />another term, effective July 1, 1994. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman and <br />.Landis voted yes, Quandt and Stelk voted no, .with Leslie absent. Motion <br />carried. Stelk requested minutes show the no vote because they felt the <br />positions should have been advertised. <br /> <br />County Treasurer Doris Mason letter was presented in re: Generations request <br />for refund of taxes paid on a distress warrant in the name of Corner Pocket <br />by Tom Bernard of 1990 personal property taxes paid on August 5, 1993 in <br />amount of $1800.00 and enclosed letter from Deputy County Attorney with his <br />determination to this request for refund. . <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Landis to deny the refund request for the <br />1990 personal property taxes as recommended by Hall County Deputy Attorney. <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted <br />no, with Leslie absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Frauen to accept and place on file the <br />County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts as presented. Abernethy, Frauen, <br />Hartman, Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Leslie <br />absent.
