<br />! <br /> <br />Y'Ir; liS- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County Public Works Department from time to <br />time possesses surplus culverts, road maintainer blades, and <br />bridge materials which are obsolete or not usable by the <br />county and which individu~l items have a value of less than <br />$500.00; and ~. <br /> <br />3' <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of Hall 'County to <br />authorize County Public Works Director to sell such property <br />at such times as there are willing buyers interested in <br />purchasing the same. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED that subject to the conditions herein the <br />Hall County Public Works Director is hereby authorized to <br />sell surplus cuI verts, road maintainer blades., and bridge <br />materials in the possession of the Hall County Public. Works <br />Department which are obsolete or not usable by the county <br />and having a value of less than $500.00 per item. The Public <br />Works Director shall not sell any such item of personal <br />property without first giving the County Board ten days <br />prior written notice of the determination that said property <br />is surplus property, unless such notice is waived by the <br />County Board. A written report to the County Board shall be <br />made by the Public Works Director within thirty days after <br />the end' of each fiscal year, reflecting, for each <br />transaction, the item sold, the name and address of the <br />purchaser, the price paid by the purchaser for each item, <br />and the total amount paid by the purchaser. All money <br />generated by any sales authorized by this resolution shall <br />be payable to the Hall County Treasurer and shall be <br />credited to the funds of the County Road Fund. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this ~day of.
