Motion <br /> <br />.... <br />-..- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />i /6-1-9 <br /> <br />, , <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are certain roadways and public thoroughfares, <br />bridges and appurtenances thereto, within the County of Hall, State of <br />Nebraska, that are in need of and should be improved by re-surfacing, <br />repair and in other ways consistent with good maintenance practices, and <br /> <br />, , <br />WHEREAS, a need exists for the implementation of long range <br />planning to facilitate more economical and more uniform upgrading and <br />improvement of the County roadway and highway system, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such planning has heretofore been accomplished on the <br />basis of both a one-year plan and a six-year plan, such plans being so <br />designated respectively, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the County Board of Supervisors <br />for the County of Ball, State of Nebraska approve the one-year plan and <br />the six-year plan which are attached hereto, subject to revisions as <br />from time to time may become necessary because of facts, information or <br />reasons disclosed by continued studies of the future need of the County <br />with respect to its roadway sygtem. <br /> <br />xtA <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Dated this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />c:;/Z'~, 197'~ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />by'" <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Don Shuda, Veterans Service Officer reported on the World War II Commemorative <br />Program information which he had received from County Board. He requested a <br />committee be appointed to work on the program as need at least 3 programs in <br />a year. Suggestions for programs were Memorial Day Program at Veterans Home, <br />Rededication of monument and County Government Day. <br />Committee will be Don Shuda, Chairman~ Margaret Landis, Tammie Stelk and <br />Irene Abernethy. <br /> <br />Resolution was presented in regard to sale of used law books from the County's <br />Law Library and set date and time to receive bids. <br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Landis' to adopt Resolution #1550 as presented <br />setting the date and time. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt <br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 15'50 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors has <br />determined that certain used law books are obsolete or no <br />longer useab1e in the County's Law Library, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors wants to <br />dispose of the previously described used law books, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a list of the used law books to be sold is <br />attached; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the law'books as <br />described in the attached list, are surplus County property <br />and are obsolete or not useable in the County's Law Library. <br />The Hall County Board of Superv!~c>.;-,~~~ill sell the <br />
