Motion carried on 6 yes, 1 no vote. Abernethy reported she attended the Building & Grounds Committee meeting and also reported on the Weed Control Authority meeting she had attended. Quandt reported he will attend Industrial F~undation meeting today and will attended the Convention & Vi~itor's Bureau meeting ~n Thursday. Board members had voted early in. meeting to adopt when resolution was r~ady. RESOLUTION f./~~~ A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SALARIES FOR CERTAIN ELECTED COUNTY OFFICIALS FOR THE 1995-1999 TERM OF OFFICE WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors is required by law to set and establish salaries for elected county officials for the four-year term of office commencing on January 5, 1995; and WHEREAS, on the 4th day of January, 1994 the Hall County Board of Supervisors met in regular public meeting and, by vote duly recorded as provided by law, approved a motion setting proposed salaries for elected county officials whose four year terms of office commence on January 5, 1995 to-wit: County Attorney, County Clerk, Clerk of the District Court, Register of Deeds, Treasurer, Assessor, Sheriff, and Surveyor and authorized the preparation of a resolution setting forth said proposed salaries for final vote by the Board of Supervisors at its next regular public meeting; and WHEREAS, said resolution was prepared and considered by the Board of Supervisors on this date, and amendments to the proposed salaries were considered. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS that effective January 5, 1995; 1. The annual salary for each of the offices of County Clerk, Clerk of the District Court, Register of Deeds, and Treasurer be established at $32,500.00 for the calendar year 1995. That for each year thereafter a $500.00 cost-of-living increase shall be added to the previous year's salary so that the total amount paid for the calendar year 1996 shall be $33,000.00, for the calendar year 1997 shall be $33,500.00 and for the calendar year 1998 shall be $34,000.00. 2. The annual salary for the office of Assessor be established at $32,750.00 for the calendar year 1995. That for each year thereafter a $750.00 cost~of-living increase shall be
