Also have written recommendation from <br />Courthouse Renovation Committee signed by two members of committee. <br /> <br />Quandt: Courthouse Renovation Committee, Building & Grounds Committee meetings <br />and also the Personnel Committee meeting with officials. <br /> <br />Stelk: Reported on the Personnel Committee meeting with officials, Have set <br />County Employee picnic for August 7th at 1:00 p.m. Also have ques- <br />tions from officials about the appointed officials salaries 3% and <br />employees 3% plus step increases for preparing their budgets. <br />(Board members made no decisions today on salary increases for budgets) <br /> <br />Landis: Missed the Regional III meeting last Friday, next one is scheduled <br />for third Friday in September. Landis has questions on Mid Plains <br />Center budget and asked who she could contact about her questions. <br /> <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Landis to accept the Courthouse Renovation <br />Committee recommendation as presented. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie <br />and Stelk voted yes, Quandt voted no, with Frauen absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The Hall County Courthouse Renovation Committee recommends <br />the Board of Supervisors authorize Department Superintendent <br />Rick stepanek to spend $5,000 from the Miscellaneous General <br />line item # 22500 to do the following renovations to the <br />west side of the third floor of the Courthouse prior to June <br />24, 1994, if possible: <br /> <br />1. thoroughly clean all rooms~ <br /> <br />2. re-cut the connecting door with Judge James <br />Livingston's office suite~ <br /> <br />3. remove paneling from future Judge Luther's office, , <br />repair plaster, and paint walls~ <br /> <br />4. install new carpeting to replace the current floor <br />covering which has holes worn through~ <br /> <br />5. replace drapes because of smoke smell and age~ <br /> <br />6. paint the additional rooms and the jury room~ <br /> <br />7. clean the woodwork~ <br /> <br />8. paint the ceiling tiles~ <br /> <br />9. change the light bulbs~ <br /> <br />10. remove the credenza and the shelves. <br /> <br />c~ c~~rnethY <br /> <br />Committee Member Gary Quandt <br /> <br />Jf:~"'-:h ::)~~- <br />Comm:tttee Member Tammie Stelk <br /> <br />Recessed for Lunch at 11:54 a.m. to return to session at 1:30 p.m. for Board <br />of Egualization meeting as advertised. <br /> <br />Returned to regularsesion at 2:47 p.m. following the Board of Equalization <br />meeting. <br /> <br />~.. <br /> <br />Supervisor Quandt reported on the information for ADA doors, elevator and <br />bathrooms.
